Catey Appel

LMFT, Founder, Adventure Director

Inward Adventures is a the culmination of decades of personal and professional experience for our founder. Having worked in almost every level of mental health care, Inward Adventures is her brainchild and dream come true. She oversees and curates every adventure, and is always on the hunt for the next best destination, experience, and adventure guide.

Sarah Lipshy

LMFT, Director of Programming

Sarah’s caring nature, clinical acumen, and extensive experience is at the heart of Inward Adventures. As the program director, she helps craft trip itineraries, community events, and in-school educational programs. As a life-long camp counselor, Sarah is an expert at keeping the fun alive while encouraging client growth.

Alexis Jarrell

LMFT, Director of Operations

Alexis is the operational backbone of IA. She coordinates our safety, logistics, and outreach teams. Passionate about mental health education and advocacy, she is currently leading our efforts to expand our clinical accessibility. She is also expanding our parent coaching offerings for teen programming.
